Taiping Lake is the largest man-made lake in Anhui Province. The lake and mountains around it and the isolated hills and peninsulas of different shapes scattered in a beautiful pattern, make an excellent ecological environment.
Therefore the landscape proposal will emphasize the conservation of the natural values, the special misty microclimate so peculiar of this area, and the cultural landscape which is the richness of this place.
The essence of the project consists in the preservation of the harmony of the site, the natural flow of time and seasons, the changes of colours and textures, which conforms the framework of the landscape concept: the balance of “shan” and “shui “, mountains and water.
