The open spaces of the New Quiron Hospital, are characterized by the fragmentation of the green areas in a very steep terrain at different levels, and its location in a noisy urban area in the northeast of Barcelona.
The general criteria for the outdoor spaces is to create a green and lush image, between the street and the spaces of the new hospital, with dual role, serving as visual and acoustic screen, and also incorporates an ornamental green strip of seasonal interest at the different levels of the hospital.
For the selection of plant specimens, it has been taken into account the climate conditions in the area and maintenance issues.
